Among those is a verse in which Khajeh Hafez Shirazi has dealt with “Alexander's Mirror”. Since researchers on Hafez have controversial views on this verse, this article intends to quote and criticize the commentators’ opinions on this verse and, after providing some information about Alexander’s Mirror, tries to unravel the mystery of its meaning.   با آن که در زمینه حافظ شناسی، تحقیقات ارزنده بسیار به عمل آمده؛ ولی هنوز هم در بعضی از مسائل، اندیشه و قصد غائی این «سر حلقه رندان جهان» همچنان در پرده‌ای از ابهام مانده است. از این قبیل موارد بیتی است که خواجه شیراز مضمون آن را با «آیینه اسکندر» پرداخته است. از آنجا که آن بیت، ساخت و بیانی مبهم دارد و حافظ پژوهان در معنی آن اختلاف کرده‌اند؛ نگارنده در این مقال بر آن شد که ضمن اشاره‌ای نقد آمیز بر نظر شارحان اشعار حافظ در این مورد، تا آنجا که بتواند پرده ابهام از جمال معنی آن به یکسو زند. https://rpll.ui.ac.ir/article_19230_ae3a33067dd3fd4d9d393e17cd5b924c.pdf
