His divan (collection) of Ghazals (sonnets) has been corrected and published only once using a limited number of manuscripts. The published divan of sonnets of Katebi does not include all of his sonnets; so that there are 124 sonnets more than published version in other manuscripts that the correctors have not used them. In addition to the corrected divan, there are shortcomings that necessitate re-correction of this divan. There are defects such as lack of complete introduction and tables of content, lack of a section called glosses, incorrectness of the alphabetic order of sonnets for easy reference, existence of mistypes, missing words and incorrect refrains and so on, which necessitate exact correction of this eminent poet for eliminating these shortcomings. The purpose of this paper is to elaborate on the dimensions the defects of the Katebi’ published divan and to provide a context for improvement. To correct the problems in divan, seven new manuscripts were not used by the correctors. Because none of the manuscripts is significant in terms of accuracy, dating, and completeness over the other, problems in the published version of divan have been corrected by the eclectic method. کاتبی نیشابوری از شاعران معروف قرن نهم هجری و از زمینه‌سازان سبک هندی است. <em>دیوان غزلیات</em> او تنها یک‌بار با استفاده از نسخه‌های خطی محدودی، تصحیح و چاپ و منتشر شد. دیوان چاپی کاتبی همۀ غزل‌های او را در بر ندارد؛ به‌طوری‌که در مجموعِ نسخه‌های خطی دیگر ـ که مصحِّحان از آنها استفاده نکرده‌اند ـ 124 غزل بیش از نسخۀ چاپی وجود دارد. افزون‌بر این، دیوان تصحیح‌شده کاستی‌های دیگری نیز دارد که تصحیح دوبارة آن را ضرورت می‌بخشد؛ اشکال‌هایی مانند نداشتن مقدمۀ کامل و فهرست‌های لازم، نبود بخشی با عنوان تعلیقات، درست‌نبودن ترتیب الفبایی غزل‌ها برای آسانی رجوع به آنها، اشتباهات تایپی بسیار، افتادگی حروف و کلمات، تصحیفات، ترجیحات نادرست، و... که برای رفع همۀ این کاستی‌ها لازم است تصحیحی منقّح و دقیق از دیوان این شاعر برجسته ارائه شود. هدف این مقاله شرح مشکلات دیوان چاپی و اصلاح آنهاست. برای تصحیح مشکلات دیوان چاپی، از هفت نسخۀ خطی جدید استفاده شد که تصحیح‌کنندگان از آنها بهره نبرده بودند. هیچ‌یک از نسخه‌ها ازنظر دقت و قدمت و کامل‌بودن، بر دیگری برتری درخور توجهی ندارد؛ به همین سبب اشکالات دیوان چاپی با روش التقاطی زدوده شده است. https://rpll.ui.ac.ir/article_22892_17c0fe1a6bbacd6bd0aae2cf4c2daee2.pdf
