The division of literary works based on literary genre is one of the major issues that literary scholars have been focusing on since ancient times. But in this kind of research, texts such as Tarikh-e-Balami, Tarikh-e-Beyhaghi Gahangoshye Goveyni,, Tarikh-e-Wassaf and such other works like these, have not been investigated in the literary communication network; both general features and Their commonality, and the precise categorization of their branches and subcategories, are presented as an "independent literary type." But it seems, they can be considered as a particular literary genre and called it "Historical Literature." In this dissertation, with a preliminary introduction to literature and history, the relation between these two categories in Persian texts was declared and it became clear that the history of the formation of the first historical monuments from the ancient Iran established that these types of texts, backgrounds Old in Iran before Islam. Subsequently, we gave the exact description of the structural characteristics of the four books of the most important historical works; based on the method of the proposed analysis of the kind, examined and their common characteristics has been investigated. These features include in-text and out-of-text variables that by examining them, we were able to determine the exterior (role) of the work in each period. In the meantime, the process of transforming the form and content of the works of this kind of literature is examined and we have identified its types. Finally, the boundaries of this type of literature were determined by the relation between literary works within this literary genre and other literary forms. In this way, the main issue of this research, which was to identify a new type of historical literature, was answered, the characteristics of this new literary type were determined and a definition was presented.
